Optional Google Calendar integration

Google access is authorized by the business account owner

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. SGXbot requests access only when an eligible business customer chooses to connect a Google account for scheduling functionality.

How SGXbot uses Google Calendar

After explicit authorization by the Google account owner, SGXbot uses the authorized Google Calendar access only to provide the scheduling functionality selected by that business.

  • Check calendar availability for requested appointment times when enabled.
  • Create appointment or reservation events requested through SGX Nova.
  • Update or manage scheduling events created through the SGXbot workflow when required by the authorized business.
  • Help prevent conflicting bookings when availability checking is enabled.

What SGXbot does not do

SGXbot does not sell Google user data and does not use Google Calendar information for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, unrelated marketing, or purposes unrelated to the scheduling service authorized by the account owner.

Customer-controlled access

The business account owner chooses whether to connect Google Calendar. The integration is not required for general SGXbot or SGX Nova website-conversation functionality.
